Bluewater *Mini Magnum & Baby Bluewater

The new *Mini Magnum's ability to deliver short, accurate casts make it the perfect rod for tossing hairbugs into the lily pads for largemouth bass or flipping streamers under the mangroves for tarpon and snook.

The Baby Bluewater is the ultimate 10 weight bluewater rod for tarpon up to 100 pounds.

These hybrid deep sea fly rods use S-Glass for heavy lifting in combination with IM6 graphite for exceptional casting ability. If you're chasing marlin, tuna, or sailfish these Temple Fork Fly Rods will survive the battle. The blank goes through the TiCr coating process twice, adding power and durability.

Bluewater rod components include uplocking reel seats, flor grade cork, a full wells grip with a fore grip and a unique blue granite finish. The Mini Magnum, Baby Bluewater and Light Duty rod consists of snake and titanium-oxide stripping guides; the Heavy Duty rod has aluminum oxide inserts on all guides including the tip tops.

Bluewater rods come with a cloth rod sock and cordura rod tube.

We've teamed up with famed Australian reel designer Terry Hayden to create a reel that is designed to battle the strongest fish in the ocean. Machined from 6061 marine grade aluminum and Type III Hard Anodized, TFO's Hayden reels are built tough for a lifetime of service. Hard Anodization penetrates the base metal becoming an integral part of the material while building up on the surface creating a finish that is harder and more durable than those found on the most expensive reels. Three stainless steel bearings and a large cork drag surface area are combined for smooth start up and positive stopping power. Four sizes cover your big game needs. The HR3 is also suitable as a large capacity Spey reel. Each Terry Hayden reel comes with a neoprene reel case.
