- HOW TO FIT BREATHABLE WADERS
1. Determine your approximate wader size by using WADER SIZE CHART *

(*Wader size may need to be adjusted one or two sizes up or down on the size chart as determined by your body type.)

NOTE: INCORRECT SIZING WILL VOID WARRANTY.

2. Try on wader to get proper fit.

This is best done when you are wearing the undergarments that will be worn during the colder fishing seasons of winter, spring and fall. (We recommend something like Patagonia Capilene underwear during all seasons.)

Also try the waders on with the socks and the wading boots that you will be wearing to assure a proper fit of the wader stocking foot and wading boots.

3. Check that the feet are a proper fit by seeing if the stocking foot is the correct size.

The stocking foot should not be stretched out at the big toe and there should not be excess neoprene in the toe area that would need to be folded over in the boot.

NOTE: Keep in mind that a NON-STOCKING FOOT SIZE can be ordered for $20.00 to get the correct fitting stocking foot size. Consult your dealer for details.

4. Before you do up the shoulder straps or put on the wading belt, squat down to see if there is any pull in the seams of the legs and the seat of the waders.

NOTE: If there is any excessive pull in the seams this will produce seam tape leaks over time. This type of improper fit will not be warranted.

Determine Proper Fit By Squatting Before Doing Up Shoulder Straps And Belt

5. If there is no excessive pull in the seat or the legs then do up the shoulder straps while squatting.

This will allow for the proper fit in the shoulder straps and not pull the breathable material during normal wear while walking, sitting and kneeling.

6. You can then stand up and put on the wader belt.

It is the wader belt that actually holds the wader up, not the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps should not be tightened right up, there must be enough room in the straps to allow for sitting, bending and kneeling down.

7. Once the waders are determined to be a proper fit and have been purchased be sure to read the ‘Caring For Your Breathable Waders
information. Also be sure to mail in your Wader Warranty Registration Card or complete the online registration.
